Artist Joseph Aloi — also known as JK5 —teamed with Timex on a limited release watch for Barney’s Co-Op. Working within the confines of a small, octagonal face JK5 fluidly adorned the timepiece with symmetrical linework and vibrant color choices. Though fairly cryptic, the glyph-like etchings read “JK5″ and “Barneys,” horizontally across the top. Turned sideways the watch face reads, “Illuminate,” and the numbers one to nine. On the bottom it says, “Love, Light, Create.” The functional labeling (i.e. “start”) is slightly clearer in a contrasting color. Available this Holiday, exclusively at Barney’s Co-Op.

Jeremy Scott YeLLoW & Black AdiDaS
During the hectic trade show season we caught up with dynamic designer Jeremy Scott. While focus was on his Adidas collection, Scott opened up about his thoughts on art and fashion as well. The interview was conducted by Jason Dike. Read it here.
TRUE SF designed an original piece with a Sharpie Chisel tip marker, the final outcome is a nice graffiti style logo. The motif was put on a New Era produced fitted, featuring a nice raised embroidery finish and slapped on a t-shirt. The shirts come in two color-ways for men and womens, they’re available now at TRUE SF online store.
Fat Joe is partnering with K-Mart and Sears for an affordable line of sneakers.
Due to our crazy bad economy Joe brainstormed the project with NBA Knicks star Al Harrington in response to the severe economic recession currently inflicting Americans. Joe says, “I wanted my sneaker to be something the kids could actually afford. Due to these hard economic times, a lot of kids cannot afford $200 sneakers. So kids can buy them themselves. We reported about the vinyl figure collaboration, inochi, between Medicom Toys and artist Takashi Murakami a while ago. It seems like we are coming close to a release, as we have come across some great new images. The figure will come in 5 different versions, each dressed in a different outfit. The figures will be each limited to 200 pieces and they will go for around 1500 USD. Look out for a release in the coming weeks.
The new FUCT Fall/Winter 2009 Same Shit Different Day (SSDD) Collection has been released in Japan today. After giving you a brief look at most pieces of the collection a few weeks ago, we can show you more detailed images today. The collection consists of jackets, shirts, raglan tees, longsleeves, hoodies, as well as pants and caps. FUCT nicely merges classic Americana with their own look, presenting an overall solid line-up of clothing, which is both easy to wear and match. The collection will be available from beginning of September at Stless.
BBC/Ice Cream, featuring their waffle pattern. This time the pattern appears on a messenger bag, t-shirts and once again on pants. The new product will be available in their Tokyo flagship store.
Swagger’s premium brand Phenomenon also showcases their first Fall/Winter 2009 product and as usual they are a little more experimental with their cuts and graphics. Especially the hats this season look interesting, coming in different materials, including nylon and leather. The first release will include denim, t-shirts, caps and more.
French designer JC de Castelbajac is known for his pop reference in his collections and especially for bold colors. As part of his Fall/Winter 2009 Collection the designer worked on a knitwear collection featuring Kermit the frog. Two pullovers for men and one for women has been released today at colette.
As part of their Fall 2009 Collection Billionaire Boys Club presents their chukka in denim. The upper comes in raw denim and an all-over logo print. The lining and laces are white, the sole comes in dark beige. These will be released later this month for 230 USD. We could have lived without the print and a more subtle logo placement on the tongue. Via Complex.
An interesting new colorway of the Nike Big Nike Low has been released. Similar to the iconic Air Max 95, the low top sneaker comes in a grey/black/neon yellow colorway. The tongue comes in nylon mesh and the neon yellow accents are featured on the outer sole, lining and the heel. The sneaker is now available at LTD.
Bape is getting preppier in their Fall 2009 Collection. The latest releases include check bow ties and matching ties, as well as more colorful ties. Furthermore they have released their Bapesta sneaker in a checker outfit. We actually like the Bapesta in that look, especially for the summer.

Sony recently announced the Party-shot personal photographer – “an innovative camera dock that pans 360 degrees and tilts 24 degrees, automatically detects faces, adjusts composition and takes photos for you.” Using the camera’s BIONZ image processor with its Face Detection and Smile Shutter, the Party-shot takes photos all by itself. Sounds fun.
The Party-shot is compatible with Sony’s new DSC-WX1 and DSC-TX1 Cyber-shot cameras and is mountable on most tripods. Captures photos for up to 11 hours with two AA batteries. Available September 2009 at Sony dealers worldwide for approximately $150 USD.
Some new product has been released from the BBC/Ice Cream Fall 2009 Collection. We concentrate on showing you some of the new accessories, including another backpack, a white pair of sunglasses and a new New Era cap. The white/green fading denim with all-over print just does not do it for us, so we left that out. The new product is now available at the BBC/Ice Cream flagship store in Tokyo.
The first pieces from the Alife Fall 2009 Footwear Collection start getting into stores. The drop includes the Shell Toe, Chuck, Everbody Mono, Everbody High and the Everybody Hi-Lite. So far the collection seems to be a little more subtle than previous ones and they continue to add quality to their footwear. The sneakers come in premium leathers with nice color accents. We especially like the use of suede on the tongue, contrasting the rest of the uppers.

G-Shock limited edition releases. Earlier we already gave you a look at the Pegleg x Union x G-Shock DW-6900, which sold in the matter of hours on the release day. The emphasis this month stays on the big size DW-6900.
G-Shock presents a collaboration with The Brooklyn Circus. The watch comes in a black/white colorway with red accents and logo placement on the dial, and is nicely wrapped up in special packaging.
Furthermore G-Shock presents the DW-6900 Crazy Color series. The series consists of three strong colorways of the watch, each featuring matching display and backlight colors. Look out for these watches in stores now.

Bape once again releases new styles in their Bapex watch series. For Fall/Winter 2009 they present the Bapex 2 in three colorways. We are glad they took again a more classic approach compared with previous watch releases. Inspired by the Rolex GMT-2, the Bapex 2 comes in black, blue/red and brown, featuring a 24-hour ring.
Two excellent new boat sneakers from the Sperry Topsider Fall 2009 Collection have been released. The navy and grey low top sneakers feature wool uppers, giving them the proper Fall look. The sneakers are now available at Univ.
Once again Wood Wood shows us a new footwear collaboration. After recently working with adidas, Converse and others, they now worked with Onitsuka Tiger on the classic X-Caliber GT. Once again the Copenhagen label impresses by creating a shoe that it both classic and wearable, yet different from the masses. Too many collaborations out there go too crazy and turn out to be un-wearable, and it is never the case with Wood Wood’s work.
The most recent Louis Vuitton x Takashi Murakami leather goods collection. The line was released in Japan end of April with big opening events and for those occasions the French luxury goods brand and the Japanese artist also worked on some special limited edition plush toys and plush toy key jewelry, that was only given out at the launch event. Vans Fall 2009 Vault collection has started to roll into retailers. Amongst many great styles is the custom-designed “Akat” by Taka Hayashi. After wowing us with his re-interpretation of several classic Vans models, Taka crafted three new silhouettes from the ground up. With an obvious Visvim influence (or perhaps the same influences as Visvim) the Akat draws inspiration from Native American culture, 1960s Italian footwear and the military. Available in bitter chocolate, with tonal stitching (pictured) or brown, with contrast white stitching and laces. We can attest this look isn’t for everybody, but if you’re not down, the epic Vans Vault Peacoat Chukkas and Del Barco Mids are also in stock now at Bows & Arrows.
The 3rd edition of A Bathing Ape x Ghostbusters collaboration t-shirts 3/4 sleeve tees, and matching mug cup will be available Friday July, 24th. The t-shirt and the mug cup will be available in both black and white, with black being a special color only available in the United States.
Today we can give you an interesting first look at an upcoming collaboration. While walking through (capsule) show NYC this week we came across the new Mosley Tribes x Hellz Bellz collaboration sunglasses. The two brands worked on two pairs for Spring 2010, one coming in a classic brown, the other one in a black/red colorway. Apparently the “nose bridge” is removable, but more on that when we get closer to the release.

Expect the collection to be available from the end of the month at Roden Gray and other premium retailers.
For fall, Jordan Brand translates the Spiz’ike model into a rugged boot for the first time. The uppers are winterized, and the soles given a fuller hiking feel. Among the three color ways the flint gray/cherrywood red offering is the most exciting. A dark cinder/black version is also on tap, complemented by another simple black/anthracite model.
We get a first look at the new URSUS BAPE collection, designed by Tetsu Nishiyama (Tet) of WTAPS. He is the creative director of the new URSUS Bape line from Fall/Winter 2009. The line is an extension to the collaborative t-shirts that were previously only available in Japan. The Bape General’s logo has been transformed into a skull, which makes up the motif of the URSUS logo. The collection will consist of “dark” and “pop-art like” designs with a lot of attention to detail and craftmanship. Billionaire Boys Club introduces an interesting new graphic pattern into their collection, using the top view of a city landscape. The top view of the buildings comes as an all over print on both pants and a messenger bag. Both pieces have been released today in Tokyo.
I can not wait until these Reebok Spring/Summer 2010 Collection release. Spotted at Bread & Butter in Berlin last week. The Purple Pack consists of the Pump Omni Lite, Court Victory Pump and the Insta Pump Fury. Reebok mainly used purple and some pink as accent colors on the footwear. We like a lot the combination of those colors with grey and white on the base. Also unlike many other Reebok releases, this does not go too far, but features just the right amount of color. Look out for a release in Spring/Summer 2010.

At the BET 2009 Awards, Lil Wayne performed in some crystal studded Supra Skytops. For the past few weeks it has remained a mystery as to who created the custom Skytops. Today, we’re able to reveal that the shoes were created by Berlin and Paris based CLVII store. They gave this special pair of blinged out Supra Skytops to Lil Wayne for his 26th birthday this past September. What a gift.
Nike today a limited edition set of three performance basketball shoes commemorating the worldwide premiere of the Transformers film sequel. The collaboration includes the Nike Zoom Flight Club, Nike Zoom FP and Nike Sharkalaid complete with special packaging, retro graphics and vibrant color combinations.
Nike worked closely with Hasbro on this special project. The Transformers franchise, spanning a range of media over the past 25 years, is based on transforming robots representing good and evil. No detail went unnoticed when Nike began the design process. The shoe packaging mimics the nostalgic toy boxes complete with original Hasbro graphics, J-hooks for hanging display and decoder profiles on the back of the boxes that highlight each robot’s powers.
The ato Cow Hide Boot returns for Fall 2009. After previously coming out in strong colorways and a Roc Star collaboration, the high top sneaker is now available in a more subtle military green outfit. Adidas Fall 09 & Nike SB "Ms Pacman" Eugene Backpack
Here we give you a look today at the ZX 500 of the adidas Originals Multicolor Stripes Pack. The classic running shoe features an all-over stripe design, hinting at the logo stripes of the brand. Furthermore it carries the 60th anniversary logo tag on the tongue. Look out for a release very soon! We have liked the Eugene Backpack by Nike SB from the very beginning. It is functional, came so far in some strong colorways and just has an overall good aesthetic. Soon it will be released in a new “Ms Pacman” colorway, inspired by the colors of the different characters in the iconic video game. The backpack is now available for pre-order in the Kix-Files online store and will be released mid July.

He touch on fashions such as Louis Vuitton with Marc Jacobs, and worked with music artist such as Kanye West and Pharrell Williams also influencing them to be creative. His designs open minds and influenced a lot of people around the world. And trust me when i say he isn't close to being finished yet. These Purple Croc sneaker's by JUMP located downtown NYC in Soho are hot. I personally own a few pairs. A few years ago i was downtown Manhatten and i spotted a pair in the window then i just had to buy them, ever since then i had to go back. I Just had to pay homage to Kanye West, the man with all the right moves, with his street line his, Air Yeezy's to his Luxury line his collaborating with Marc Jacobs to this finalized product of his own Louis Vuitton sneaker. I just had to pick up this Black embossed Louis Vuitton Bag. New from the 2009 Fall/Winter collection. I think this is one of there most classic pieces that released this season. I love LV pieces on the fact that they are made to last, and the more wear and tear the better it looks. Not the most affordable but if you can spring for it this season this one would be the one to get.

I’ve always loved cupcakes because of the carefree feeling it brings, but when I’ve tasted miniature cupcakes - baked by Melissa my cupcake world has change… literally! These quarter-sized cupcakes are super delicious… ooey-gooey little explosion that makes you crave for more. I’m kind-of late in this bandwagon but it’s just I hate waiting in lines no matter what, I just don’t think it’s worth standing in line like a beggar but last week was my day; I pass that little-secret window and it was line-free!
So if you’re ever down in Soho, please do yourselves a favor and treat yourselves, live a little and be carefree for once and savor every mini-bite!

I was very pleased on what i seen in there store, they are urban but casual, a perfect balance i would say.
